The meeting with members of the European Court of Auditors

On May 23rd, 2011 the meeting with members of the European Court of Auditors took place at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economy - NRI. During the meeting the results of the research conducted by the Institute on the impact of direct payments on farmers? incomes and profitability of investments on farms were presented. The Auditors were also interested in the research on the development of agricultural land market and the role of subsidies in the stabilization of farmers? incomes. During their visit, the Auditors were provided with over 100 most important publications, on direct payments in particular, published by IAFE-NRI.
