The first meeting of the Polish Platform for Dialogue on Sustainable Agriculture

On October 29, 2019, the first meeting of the Polish Platform for Dialogue on Sustainable Agriculture took place at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics - National Research Institute. This platform is one of five such platforms created as part of the project lead by the Institute for European Environmental Policy. The aim of the project is to intensify the debate on the future of agriculture and support efforts to achieve the level of public expenditure on research and development in European agriculture that will ensure the EU's compliance with its international obligations related to the climate and sustainable development.

The Polish platform, like the other platforms created in this project, brings together representatives of the world of science, farmers, agricultural industry entrepreneurs and non-governmental organizations dealing with the issues of agriculture and rural development. The coordinator of the Polish Platform for Dialogue on Sustainable Agriculture is dr Barbara Wieliczko.
